Indonesian Celebration

This is the food.  Left to right: Gado-Gado (Indonesian salad); Lambal Kacang (peanut sauce); Sate Daging (a common street food similar to ka-bobs); soup; and Opor Ayam (chicken in coconut cream sauce).

Mama made the table pretty.

The food was pretty well-liked.  We ate off of banana leaves and used our fingers.

We had fried plantains and spicy candy for dessert.
